Tihomir Todorov is the Founder and Managing Partner of Solo Capital, an independent boutique advisory firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance, business sales and acquisitions, strategic investments, and corporate restructuring.

With more than 25 years of executive, entrepreneurial and advisory experience, he advises business owners, entrepreneurs, family-owned companies, corporate groups, strategic investors and financial institutions on the preparation, structuring and execution of complex corporate transactions and strategic investment projects.

His expertise spans the entire M&A lifecycle—from strategic business preparation, valuation and transaction structuring to identifying strategic investors, managing competitive sale processes, coordinating due diligence, leading negotiations and successfully closing transactions.

Prior to founding Solo Capital, Mr. Todorov held senior leadership positions as an owner, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer across companies operating in industrial manufacturing, engineering technologies, human capital consulting, telecommunications and international trade. His hands-on executive experience provides him with a deep understanding of the strategic, operational and financial challenges faced by entrepreneurs, shareholders and investors when making critical business decisions.

His professional practice includes advisory work across a broad range of industries, including industrial manufacturing, machinery and engineering, metal processing and foundries, automotive, agribusiness, food processing, industrial equipment, renewable energy, telecommunications and professional services. He has also advised on corporate restructuring, business sale preparation, strategic investment projects and the development of long-term business partnerships.

Mr. Todorov has established an extensive international network of entrepreneurs, investors and corporate advisors throughout Europe, China and Central Asia. His international perspective supports cross-border transactions, strategic partnerships and the successful connection of Bulgarian businesses with international strategic and financial investors.

His multidisciplinary background combines corporate finance, strategic management, negotiation psychology, engineering sciences and human capital management. This integrated perspective enables him to evaluate every transaction not only from a financial standpoint but also in terms of its strategic relevance, organizational impact and long-term value creation.

Mr. Todorov holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics, a Master's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Automotive Electronics. 

His professional qualifications are further strengthened through a number of internationally recognized specializations. He is certified in polygraph examinations by the Chicago Polygraph Institute (USA) and has completed advanced professional training in modern polygraph methodologies under Dr. Andrey Volik, followed by specialized training with internationally recognized polygraph expert Martin Medvecky in Slovakia. His international education also includes advanced studies in Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan in Italy and China, where he earned certification as an instructor.

Alongside his advisory practice, Mr. Todorov has been actively engaged in executive education and corporate training in the fields of leadership, human capital management, marketing, executive search and organizational development. He has lectured in Marketing and Human Resource Management at higher education institutions in Bulgaria and has designed and delivered executive development programs for CEOs, senior executives and management teams. He is the author of two books and numerous professional publications on leadership, psychology, organizational development and management.
